With dedicated programs and diverse specialists, the team at EIRMC provides personalized medical services for individuals of all ages in the surrounding region.
Features of our facility
As a full-service medical center, we are home to a Level II Trauma Center, the only burn center in Idaho and one of only two Level I Intensive Care Units (ICUs) in the state. Our emergency room (ER) is the most experienced in the region, and is supported by a robust, local helicopter and ground medical rescue service. Additionally, we have the region's only pediatric ICU (PICU) for very ill children.
Our heart center offers the region's most comprehensive cardiovascular program, including a full range of cardiology services, such as:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Interventional heart procedures
- Minimally invasive heart surgery
- Traditional heart surgery
We have a Level III Neonatal ICU (NICU) that supports babies born as early as 22-weeks gestation. In addition to a Primary Stroke Center, our facility also features an inpatient and outpatient behavioral health center with personalized programs for adults and adolescents. We also give you access to doctors, nurses and support staff who deliver neurological surgery, cancer care and orthopedic treatment.
